Situation
A marketing survey found that sales reps across Europe
had inconsistent knowledge of Medtronic products and therapies
for pain. The client also wanted to train reps on consistent
use of product brands to strengthen brands against competitors.
A tool was needed to help with training of new reps, as
well as to serve as a quick reference.

guide that included features, advantages, benefits and
key messages for each product, as well as key clinical
sources, objection handling and a primer on branding.
The small, spiral-bound guide fit into a reps pocket,
purse or briefcase and quickly became a highly valued
reference tool.
